Great program for individuals who want to focus themselves on volunteer and recreation/socialization skills, along with learning new hobbies and/or skills. May include some paid work. Great for physical, social, and emotional well-being.
LEAP
Life skills, Employment, Access and Partnerships (LEAP)
A program designed to assist people in exploring their interests and needs while fulfilling their career goals and personal aspirations. Offer access to better educational and economic opportunities by using Work-Based Learning.

SCOPE
Supported Community Options Project of the East Bay (SCOPE)
SCOPE teaches life skills to adults who have severe to profound levels of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assures each person participates as a valued member within the community. Encourages the development and maintenance of skills. These skills are related to the highest degree of independence possible.
SCOPE was designed when the focus of “community integration” for persons with developmental disabilities became the trend for transitions.
CS Program
Community Services Program (CS)
Supported Employment Opportunities
The Arc of the East Bay provides training and support at all stages of the job process.
We match individuals eager to work with employers in their communities. The result is always a success. Employers report that they get some of their most dedicated and hard-working employees. And an individual who has a developmental disability gets an opportunity to prove that he or she can work hard and get the job done.
